So you’re curious about game based tutoring, eh? Congratulations and welcome to the future of on-demand learning! Nexed tutors come in 3 flavours; the first thing to do is to choose which type best describes you:
I can’t wait to try my hand at tutoring
I want to extend my students’ experience
My team wants to increase client reach
If you are new to the tutoring scene or just having a look around, then chances are that you still need to find students to tutor. The freelance learning marketplace is a great place to get started. We recommend watching this video on how it works and diving right in. If you’re not sure, have questions, are lost, dazed or confused then just skip all that and contact us! We’re happy to help you on your adventure.
If you are a veteran tutor and are looking for ways to improve your students’ learning experience, increase your student base or to set yourself apart from the competition, then we recommend watching this video on how to get started. You could be up and running in a matter of minutes! We also recommend watching our other tutorials on best practices for tutoring in a 3D environment. If you would like to become publicly listed tutor, then contact us and we can begin the application process.
If you enjoy the benefits of being a member of an established tutoring team, be it a group of home school parents or club organizers, a small tutoring company or a larger learning institution then things are about to get (more?) interesting for you! From publicly listing approved tutors to deploying private enterprise versions of the marketplace, Answerables has been developed with flexibility enough to meet virtually any team scenario and scale. Since your team is unique, the best way to get started is to contact us and we can develop a plan that meets the needs of your team.
The process for becoming a NEXED tutor is straightforward and completely FREE. Here are the steps you will take in the process:

In short, anyone can apply. While we don’t necessarily accept only applicants with a bachelors degree in education, we are looking for amazing educators. Having a specialty is a bonus, but because of the information age we live in, our preference goes to those who possess ‘qualitative’ skills such as the ability to manage web content and resources, solve problems creatively, coach, engage and motivate students, think outside the box. For the safety of our students, there is a rigorous background check and in some cases, testing will be necessary to ensure you will be able to provide the best quality education this side of the Milky Way. Think you’re up for the challenge? Contact us and we’ll get the application process started.
While we would like to make every tutor publicly listed, we are committed to maintaining a high standard for our community of educators so we can cultivate the best digital learning community on the planet. That said, for a variety of reasons including availability or subject demand, not all applicants will make the cut. If you are not selected as one of our public tutors we hope it doesn’t discourage you from doing what you love! Private tutors can still supplement their income, improve their skills and continue on the path of a lifelong learner! And of course, when a spot opens up, we’ll let you know.
